PayPal Battle Hack is ten cities with ten different hacks, with one goal: winning 100,000 USD at the finals in California! 2013 Battle Hack’s first showdown took place in Berlin – hosted at the Wooga offices. With the sound of the gong, 24 hours for the developers to build awesome applications that can help people relocate, live or found businesses in Berlin.
Battle Hack is a massive enterprise and is a competition in search of the world’s best hackers. In 10 cities around the world hackers compete to get to the World finals in San Jose, California and to beat the best hackers in Silicon Valley. Criteria includes quality of the idea, implementation, execution and overall user experience.
The best product at the finals wins 100.000 USD. In addition to the main prize, teams can win remote controlled helicopters and MacBook Air’s for best idea, fastest progress and most hardcore.
